permanent exhibit...
North of the Pearl district in Portland, a particularly aesthetic display of selfish indifference, of a labor without conscience. This scene found on a walk in March 2006 had the appearance of sitting there for months already. I have been hacking on this scan in the gimp a few times since first posting; still without satisfaction. The only thing to do is to go back and photograph again. The exhibit will surely be there, in this form or another, for many seasons to come.
