jumping off point, or vertigo in st. johns...

Teshka's plastic camera has been quiet for awhile now, especially since moving to West Africa. For one thing there aren't any places to drop off your C-41 120 film here and get nice 5x5 prints back in a few days.

She could be using black and white film, of course. Except that she knows it could be months before her lazy slacker of a husband gets around to developing it. Not to mention scanning. And you may as well completely forget about ever seeing any prints in this lifetime...

So, to put up this short holgarama set, we will have to go back in time a ways. Another time on another continent when Holgas still saw the world in color. A time before malaria, before African cats had African kittens. A time when we were still playful and remembered how to be silly.

North Portland, September 2006.
