There is no greater joy than feeling the soil of a new land underfoot.

We went to Ireland in September, our first visit to the Republic. We spent most of our time in Kerry County, around Tralee and the Dingle Peninsula.

One afternoon we had this beach to ourselves at Castlegregory.
