low hanging fruit...


We have a tree in our yard that appears to bear oranges.

But the fruit remains green and just hangs there, for months at a time. The heavy green spheres never soften or change color or ever ripen. They just hang there, looking fat and juicy and ever ready to pick. But they are never ready, never loosen, never fall to the ground.

Also, the branches have thorns.

What's the point?
