ripple effect...

Our time in Barcelona was intended to buffer our transition from America to Africa. It gave us a chance to recover from the hectic final days of packing up in Portland before dropping into the hot reckless chaos of Togo.

We'll end the Catalonia series here for now, but may return to it from time to time as a reminder of cooler temperatures, other colors, and European sensibilities.
