one morning in old town...

Rather than wait at the hotel for our Albanian tour group to get its sorry act together, Teshka and I made an early start and found our own way down to the old town by city bus.

Good thing we did! The crowds were thin then and the air was still comfortable and fresh. And the city itself could be seen in all its glorious splendor.

Even so, the daylight was quickly growing intense and hot and harsh, already a bit too much for the uncoated lens on the old Graflex.

And -- oops! -- I forgot to pack a lens hood!
