Street scene in the "touristy" part of Alberobello.

Our ferry from Albania departed on the U.S. holiday of Thanksgiving. We had a typical holiday feast in the afternoon before heading to the port for our midnight departure.

In Alberobello we arrived just as preparations were being made for the Christmas holiday. In defiance of the grey and chilly gloom, workmen were about the town stringing lights upon the trees and trulli-tops. The lights decorating these trulli were installed this very morning.
